Mani Osteria and Isalita Cantina Mexicana are locally owned, family-friendly restaurants in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.
Since 2011 Mani, our Italian eatery, has been serving wood-fired oven pizzas, housemade pastas, signature antipasti, and salads to the greater Ann Arbor community.
In 2012 Isalita was born. Paying tribute to the cross-cultural influences of Mexico City mercados (markets)—our street food inspired, modern Mexican small plates are designed for sharing.
Your party deserves one of our private dining rooms. We host everything from sit-down rehearsal dinners to standing cocktail parties. You can also inquire about buying out the entire restaurant. Smaller groups please ask about partial bookings. Whatever your desire, we'll work with you to make sure your event is memorable.
We remain hopeful that a return to normal means a return to graduation weekends. In 2020, we missed celebrating with our University of Michigan graduates. Remaining hopeful, we're accepting reservations for the weekend of spring commencement by email only at firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this time, we are maintaining a wait list. Weather permitting we will have first come, first serve outdoor seating available for our 2021 graduates.
Our Response To Covid-19
Taking great care of guests has always been a top priority for us. To ensure we can continue to provide the safest environment possible we’ve implemented and are rigorously following an infection control plan with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Washtenaw County Health Department (WCHD) and the National Restaurant Association (NRA).
Our dedicated staff have undergone extensive training and the restaurants have new social distancing measures in place that we will be enforcing. Here are just a few of the steps we’re taking:

To further mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we’ve installed a new ventillation system and our establishment has verified through a HVAC technician, engineer or other licensed professional that our ventilation is optimized to the extent possible in accordance with relevant codes and CDC guidelines for ventilation systems.
In compliance with the State of Michigan and the Washtenaw Health Departments Guidelines, Staff and guests are required to wear masks inside our restaurants. Whether you are picking up an order by foot or exploring the Market, please wear your mask.
We are encouraging over the phone payment for all curbside orders for your ease of pick up and to avoid any unnecessary contact. If you are joining us in the market you will be able to pay by phone through our QR code or by credit card.
We have installed hands-free door openers on entry doors, in restrooms, and staff only areas to reduce contact of high-traffic surfaces.
Last but not least, if you currently have or have had symptoms of coronavirus in the past 48 hours please do not enter. Symptoms include (but are not limited to) fever, cough, and shortness of breath.
WE GIVE A F**K. IF YOU GIVE A F**K. WE’D WANT TO F**KING MEET YOU.
